AIFT Empowers Students in Dakshina Kannada District with School Kit Distribution and Counseling Sessions
On June 8th and 9th, AIFT successfully conducted two impactful events in Dakshina Kannada district, dedicated to the distribution of school kits and providing essential counseling sessions to students. These programs were held at Shanthi Sandesh Trust in Mangalore on June 8th and Suvarna Mini Hall in Belthangady on June 9th, aiming to equip and inspire students for the forthcoming academic year.
Engaging and Inspiring Sessions
A total of 80 students participated in these events, which featured significant involvement and support from prominent figures. Mr. Ravi Bale and Mr. Ravishankar addressed the children, offering motivational speeches that encouraged the students to strive for academic excellence and personal growth. The students were given a platform to share their learning experiences and express their appreciation for their association with the AIFT team, highlighting the positive impact of the program on their lives.
Comprehensive Support and Recognition
Each participating student received a complete school kit, ensuring they have all the necessary tools to start their classes effectively. Recognizing academic achievement, a special felicitation ceremony was held for seven students who scored 75% and above in their 10th, First PUC, and 2nd PUC exams. These high-achieving students were awarded for their dedication and hard work, serving as role models for their peers.
Counseling for Holistic Development
An integral part of the program was the counseling sessions provided by Ms. Prapulla Sandeep. She offered valuable guidance and support to students from 9th to 12th grade, addressing their academic and personal development needs. The presence of Mr. Ravi Bale, Mr. Ravishankar, Dr. Anurag Srivastava, Mr. Chethan, and Mr. Manoj Kumar further enriched the events, showcasing a robust support system for the students.
